Description
English: Wolverton Carriage Works: line-up of the Works shunting engines.
View northward, outside the extensive ex-London & North Western Carriage Works, which bordered the West Coast Main Line just west of Wolverton Station. The locomotives were ex-LNW 'Special' 2F 0-6-0 saddle-tanks, Carriage Dept. Nos. 3, 6 and 7. (The fourth member of the team, No. 8 'Earlestown', is just out of frame on the right.
