Description
English: These windows were removed from the Wakefield Street church before its demolition and incorporated into the design of the new meeting house at Norwood in the early 1970s. They commemorate the lives of [1] William Everard (1819–1889) and Maria Everard, née Hughes, [2] ,[3] Matthew Symonds Clark (1839–1920), his wife Euphemia (1849–1940), and their son Darwin Clark (1893–1943). This window was the work of Nora Burden, one of Australia's few women stained-glass painters. [4] Anne Kay (died 9 May 1886), [5] Alfred Simpson (1805–1891) and Sarah Simpson née Neighbour (died 1874)
