Das Eichenblatt ist redendes Bild für den Gemeindenamen Aicha, der davon abgeleitet ist, dass die Siedlung in einer großen Eichenwaldung angelegt wurde. Aicha besitzt noch heute im sog. Gföhret den einzigen geschlossenen Eichenwald in Niederbayern. Die roten Balken in Silber entsprechen dem Wappen der böhmischen Linie der ursprünglich aus Frankreich stammenden herzoglichen Familie von Croy. Der heimatvertriebene Prinz Alexis von Croy erwarb das Schloss Aicha 1952; die Familie ist seither dort ansässig.
