BUILT 1891; GEORGIAN MASNION BUILT AS A SUMMER HOME BY GEORGE FRELINGHUYSEN DURING MORRISTOWN’S GOLDEN ERA. HIS DAUGHTER DONATED THE PROPERTY TO MORRIS COUNTY IN 1969 AS THE FRELINGHUYSEN ARBORETUM WHICH IT CURRENTLY STILL IS.
