Description
English: This unused 80 column punch card comes from the University of Illinois at Chicago (then University of Illinois at Chicago Circle). Its design demonstrates that a card could have just about anything printed on it, such as logos, which did not interfere with the mechanics of reading or punching cards. This card had been used as a bookmark and sat undisturbed for over 30 years. The slight diagonal crease was accidentally made during handling.
Date Original printing date unknown. UIC stopped using the "Chicago Circle" name after 1982. This particular card was not acquired before 1975.
