English: The Brookman Building, originally housing the South Australian School of Mines and Industries and later part of the South Australian Institute of Technology, is now part of the City East campus of the University of South Australia , which was founded in January 1991 through the amalgamation of the South Australian Institute of Technology and the Magill, Salisbury and Underdale campuses of the South Australian College of Advanced Education.
