Indonesia (Jan. 14, 2005) - Indonesian Student Regiment personnel in Banda Aceh, Sumatra, show smiles of hope after the devastating tsunami destroyed many of their homes in the area. U.S. Military personnel are assisting local authorities using helicopters to transport supplies, bringing in disaster relief teams, and supporting humanitarian airlifts to tsunami-stricken coastal regions. The Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group and her embarked Carrier Air Wing Two (CVW-2) are currently operating in the Indian Ocean region off the coast of Indonesia and Thailand.
