English: The U.S. Navy submarine tender USS Rainbow (AS-7) underway, circa in 1918.
Note: The original photo is labeled "17-26-10", which probably means 10 October 1917. However, Rainbow served as a barracks ship at the U.S. Naval Training Station, Yerba Buena Island, Califronia (USA), from 4 February 1916 until 14 December 1917. She was then converted to a submarine tender at te Mare Island Naval Shipyard.
