Description
English: USS Henry Clay (SSBN-625) launches a Polaris A-2 missile from the surface off Cape Kennedy, Florida, in 1964. The mast atop the sail is a telemetry antenna used for test launches. Stowage adaptors flying high also visible. This was the first of only two surface SLBM launches from U.S. submarines
