On Tuesday, August 23, 2022, the USNS Apache (T-ATF-172) delivered the USS Whidbey Island (LSD-41) to the Naval Inactive Ship Maintenance Facility in Philadelphia. Afterwards, she berthed at Penn's landing before returning to Little Creek on Thursday, August 25th, when this image was captured.
