Description
English: Tyne Pedestrian Tunnel Somewhat dimly lit, this is one of two parallel tunnels that bore under the River Tyne between Jarrow and Wallsend. This one is for pedestrians - the other twin is for cyclists. There is also a much more substantial one for motor vehicles slightly to the east of here
