Description

Ball-and-stick model of a triiodothyronine (T 3 ) molecule, C 15 H 12 I 3 NO 4 , based on the crystal structure of the thyroxine (T 4 ) N -diethanolamine salt , reported in Acta Cryst. B (1981) 37 , 1685-1689 (CSD entry TYRXEA10 ). Phenol (ArOH) and phenyl (ArH that is ArI in T 4 ) hydrogen atom locations have been inferred.
