Summary
Description Tokat Gök Medrese 086.jpg |
English:
Heavily damaged there were still traces of the fine tiled decoration in two colours of blue, with probably religious texts as part of the decorative style, another part being geometric. As so often there was an iwan (the arched room).
The Blue Medrese functioned as museum when taking this picture, dating from 1993 or 1995. At the time it was a rather poor museum, in 2012 I noticed the museum seems to have been moved to the Bedesten, but I did not visit as it was closed.
