Ex-LB&SCR 'Large Vulcan' C2X 0-6-0 at Three Bridges Locomotive Depot.
Distinguished by their double domes and built by the Vulcan Foundry, the LB&SCR C2X class 0-6-0s were reboilered R. Billinton C2s: No. 32532 was built as C2 No. 532 10/1900, rebuilt 7/1911, withdrawn 5/60. Three Bridges Depot remained after electrification of the main lines primarily for the freight traffic and had an allocation in 1949 of 34:- 6 2-6-0, 13 0-6-0, 5 4-4-2T and 10 0-6-2T. |
