Queensland National Bank building, Brisbane, ca. 1885.
Now the National Bank, situated on the corner of Queen and Creek Streets. The foundation stone was laid in 1881. The main structure is of sandstone from Murphy's Creek, columns and carved work above are of Oamaru limestone. The architect was F. G. D. Stanley and the architecture is Italian Renaissance. (Description supplied with photograph.).
