Summary
Description Science Museum - Broad Street Station (2256100684).jpg | "The train station was built in 1917 by John Russell Pope, who also designed the Jefferson Memorial. The Richmond, Fredericksburg, and Potomac Railroad commissoned the building and ran passenger trains out of here until the 1970's, when it was vacated. It sat empty for several years until the Museum moved their collections into it." - From caption at Flickr |
