This radr van houses the transmitter, keyer and radar scopes of the 270 DA radar unit of Marine Air Warning Squadron 6 (AWS-6). It is well camoflaged under trees and pretected by sand bags. The station is on top of a hill overlooking the east coast of Okinawa, Ryukyu Retto, near Awase Airfield - 6 August 1945.
