Salesópolis é um município brasileiro do estado de São Paulo, localizado na região metropolitana da capital paulista. A população estimada em 2009 era de 16 041 e a área é de 426 km², o que resulta numa densidade demográfica de 37,3 hab/km².
Abriga a Estação Biológica de Boraceia, com 96 ha e situada em área de proteção de mananciais, que é administrada pelo Museu de Zoologia da Universidade de São Paulo. Esta estação é uma das duas únicas localidades onde ainda ocorre uma árvore da Mata Atlântica ameaçada de extinção, a Buchenavia rabelloana.[8]
