Description
English: Following one minute speeches, the House debated a resolution (H Res 726) that expresses support by the House for Ukraine and condemns the military aggression by Russia against that country. Members also voted on three bills debated earlier in the week S. 476 and HR 5462. Later in the day, the House continued debate on H.J.Res. 124, a continuing resolution funding the federal government through December 11th. The bill included an amendment to authorize the Obama administration to train and equip Syrian opposition forces fighting against *ISIS. Members voted 319-108 in favor of H.J. Res. 124, with the amendment passing by a 273-156 margin.
