Summary

Description A U.S. Air Force Douglas RB-26C-40-DT Invader (s/n 44-35599) of the 183rd Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron (Night Photo), 117th Tactical Reconnaissance Wing, Alabama Air National Guard in a temporary nose "hangar" at Toul Air Base, France, January 1953. The 183rd TRS flew the RB-26 from 1953 to 1957. 44-35599 was operated by France from September 1956 to March 1959. Returned to USAF service, it was converted to an RB-26P in January 1962. It was finally written off on 21 November 1967.
