duque de Valencia

presidente del Consejo de Ministros de España
en varias ocasiones durante el reinado de
Isabel II
. El título de duque de Valencia le fue concedido por Isabel II el día 18 de noviembre de 1845, y el retratado aparece vistiendo el uniforme de gala de capitán General, y ostentando sobre la casaca el collar de la
Orden del Toisón de Oro
, y las cruces y bandas de las órdenes de
Carlos III
,
San Fernando
y
Alcántara
. Se dispone de pie, delante de la mesa cubierta con un tapete de terciopelo en el que está bordado el blasón heráldico de su ducado. Este retrato, fechado y firmado por Vicente López en 1849, fue el último cuadro realizado por el pintor, y es una réplica del que se conserva en el
Palacio Real de Madrid
.
