I HAD AN OPPORTUNITY TO SPEAK WITH NEIGHBORS AND THEY INFORMED ME THAT A FAMILY NAMED GRIMALDI LIVED ON THE AREA BUT WHEN THEIR HOUSE WAS DEMOLISHED ALL THE OTHER BUILDINGS ASSOCIATED WITH THE REACTION SITE, INCLUDING THE BLOCKHOUSE, WERE ALSO DEMOLISHED. THEY SHOWED ME A SCRAPBOOK WITH PICTURES OF THE OLD HOUSE NOW GONE. ONLY DENSE WOODS REMAINS WITH NO OBVIOUS TRAILS AND NO INTERPRETIVE PLAQUES ETC.
