Description
English: Animation of three images taken 90 minutes apart, showing the slow movement of Quaoar (as indicated by the white arrow). These images were taken with the 48-inch Samuel Oschin telescope at the Palomar Observatory on 4 June 2002. At that time, Quaoar was located in the constellation of Ophiuchus, at celestial coordinates RA 16 38 20.71 and Dec -14 51 18.2.
