Summary

Description
English: The unpiloted ISS Progress 38 resupply vehicle approaches the International Space Station, bringing almost two tons of food, fuel, oxygen, propellant and supplies for the Expedition 24 crew members aboard the station. The attempted docking on July 2, 2010, was aborted when telemetry between the Progress and the space station was lost about 25 minutes before its planned docking. As a result, the Progress vehicle continued on its trajectory and glided past the space station. Later, the Progress successfully docked to the aft end of the Zvezda Service Module at 12:17 p.m. (EDT) on July 4, 2010. The docking was executed flawlessly by Progress' Kurs automated rendezvous system.
