This is a photograph of Eastern Shoshone artist Cotsiogo, also known as Codsiogo, Katsikodi, or Cadzy Cody. Cotsiogo is known for his hide paintings that depicted Native American traditions. He lived on the Wind River Indian Reservation of Wyoming. This photograph was produced before 1898. Cotsiogo lived from circa 1866 to 1912.
