Pat Vegas, founding member of the Native American rock band REDBONE, joined L.A. City Councilman Mitch O'Farrell at City Hall on Sept. 10 to preview the city's plans for its first Indigenous Peoples Day on Oct. 8. The L.A. City Council voted in August 2017 to replace Columbus Day with Indigenous Peoples Day on the city's calendar.
