Shows streets, city blocks, departments, landmarks, parks, rivers and canals. 1765 edition of Pasquier and Denis, Plan of the City of Paris. Includes 44 double-page and folding hand colored maps, of which 40 are numbered, descriptive text, with engraved title-page with dedication text and Preface, with vignettes throughout, in 149 pages and 34 pages of index to hotels, names of streets, coaches and carosses, etc. In contemporary French mottled calf covers with title "Paris en 1765" on spine in gilt.
