Left to right, Betty Fox, mother of the late cancer activist Terry Fox; Jacques Villeneuve, the only Canadian race car driver to win both the Indianapolis 500 and Formula 1 world championship; four-time Grammy Award winning singer Anne Murray; Bobby Orr, National Hockey League legendary defenceman; Emmy-award winning actor Donald Sutherland; Barbara Ann Scott-King, 1948 Olympic figure skating gold medalist; Meritorious Service Cross recipient retired Canadian Lt. Gen. Romeo Dallaire, and Canadian astronaut Julie Payette are carrying the flag.
