English:
INTERIOR OF THE OFFICE OF THE SPEAKER ACTUAL SITE WITHIN THE CAPITOL BUILDING IN WASHINGTON
|
Date | 1999–2007 |

WIKIPEDIA HAS A LONG ARTICLE ON THE SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES BUT HAS NO PICTURES OF HIS ACTUAL OFFICE. EACH SPEAKER CAN ADD PERSONAL TOUCHES BUT THE ACTUAL SPACE IN THE CAPITOL BUILDING REMAINS CONSTANT. THIS PICTURE WAS TAKEN DURING THE TENURE OF DENNIS HASTERT OF ILLINOIS WHO HAD DECORATED THE WALLS WITH PICTURES OF LINCOLN AND ALSO HAD SOME MODEL RAILROAD TRAINS IN THE ROOMS BECAUSE THIS WAS HIS HOBBY.
