Novichok_synthesis.png

Summary

Description Synthesis of A232 (Novichok-5) and A234. Each has been mentioned in connection with the w:poisoning of Sergei and Yulia Skripal , though at this time I've seen no definitive statement on the precise substance used. The chemical structures in this reaction scheme are taken directly from the PDF available at https://www.researchgate.net/publication/288702130_Potential_Chemical_Warfare_Agents ; to these I have added English translations of the chemical names and otherwise relabeled for consistency. This chemical image could be re-created using vector graphics as an SVG file . This has several advantages; see Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with {{ vector version available | new image name }} .

It is recommended to name the SVG file “Novichok synthesis.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva ) does not need the new image name parameter.
