English: w:Nottingham Express Transit tramway w:Golden Spike ceremony close to w:Central College Nottingham and the headquarters of w:Barton Transport in Chilwell on 27 November 2014 shortly after 14:00 UTC. w:Broxtowe Councillor Steve Barber installed the final Golden w:Pandrol clip to mark completion of the trackwork on the new line to Beeston and Chilwell. Photograph taken looking due north, with buildings of Central College Nottingham in the background. The golden clip was removed for safe-keeping after the ceremony and a regular Pandrol clip re-installed in its place. Left-to-right are Paul Harris ( w:Taylor Woodrow Alstom), Cllr Steve Barber, Phil Hewitt (Tram Link Nottingham), Didier Marcillou ( w:Alstom ). [1]
