English: Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception , 1818, by Jean-Baptiste Debret. It evokes the Order of the Immaculate Conception of Vila Viçosa, created by King John VI on 6 February 1818, the day of his Acclamation. Debret was also the designer of the insignias of the new Order, depicted at the feet of Our Lady.
