Summary
Description New York State Pavilion - June 2017.jpg |
English:
This is a photo of the New York State Pavilion in Flushing Meadows Corona Park in New York City, which was created as part of the 1964-1965 World's Fair. Neglected for decades, in recent years volunteers from the New York State Pavilion Paint Project have been working to restore it, promoting public access, and advocating for funding to advance those goals. This photo was taken during a special tour of the facility conducted in cooperation with the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation and in association with Untapped Cities.
