NRK1/2 mediated NAD+ biosynthesis pathway from Nicotinamide riboside (NR). NR is metabolised by nicotinamide riboside kinase (NRK1/2) to form nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) which is then converted to nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) through the activity of NMN-adenylyltransferase (NMNAT).
