N. J. Felix House
, an NRHP-listed upper crust beach house in
Asharoken, New York
. While less extravagant than the mansions built along the North Shore of Long Island at the time, it's still bigger than your average beach bungalow. Unfortunately, with so much upscale private property along the strip of land known as Asharoken, it was difficult to get a good shot without the risk of rubbing local residents and authority the wrong way.
