Météorite Ensisheim, tombée en 1492 en France. Composée de chondrite ordinaire (LL6). Cette météorite est tombée le 7 novembre 1492. Une forte explosion retentit dans le ciel au-dessus d'Ensisheim, en Alsace, et un enfant voit une pierre tomber dans un champ. A l'époque, les savants considèrent cette chute de pierre comme un phénomène surnaturel et la météorite est enchaînée dans l'église.
Exposée à l'occasion de l'exposition "Météorites", dans le bâtiment de la grande galerie de l'Evolution, au Muséum national d'histoire naturelle de Paris (18 octobre 2017 - 10 juin 2018).
