Summary

Description

Map showing initial plan for transport links serving the area around Montreal-Mirabel International Airport.

The A-50 was originally planned to bypass Mirabel to the south, whereas today's A-50 goes through Mirabel. Also, the TRRAMM line is shown separately from the Deux-Montagnes commuter rail line (which itself was also considered for the TRRAMM alignment). The TRRAMM would have followed part of what is now the Blainville-Saint-Jerome commuter rail line with a spur into the airport.
