Description Miles Park Branch - Cleveland Public Library.jpg |
English:
Exterior of the Miles Park Branch of the Cleveland Public Library in Cleveland, Ohio. The image dates between 1894 and 1903.
The Miles Park Branch, only the second branch library in the city, opened in 1894 in the former Newburgh Town Hall (erected in 1860 and expanded in 1872). It closed about 1903, and this structure was demolished. A new building was erected on the same site, and opened as the branch library in March 1906. The 1906 structure closed in 1987.
