Description

McGill Institute, 252 Government Street, Mobile, Mobile County, Alabama. South elevation (front), east side. Built by the Chandlers in 1850 as a family home, it was sold to the McGill brothers and opened as the McGill Institute, a Catholic school, in 1897.
