Manchester University War Memorials. The photograph shows the War Memorials on the side of the John Owens Building at western side of the University of Manchester quadrangle. The upper memorial is that of the Second World War, the lower memorial is of the First World War. Bronze panels carry names of the 511 staff, students and Officer Training Corps members associated with the University who fell in the two world wars.
