An ex-Great Central J11 0-6-0 at Manchester London Road Station.
View NW in 1948 into the Eastern Region (ex-LNER, ex-GCR) part of the terminus(Platforms A, B and C), which adjoined but was operated separately from the larger London Midland Region (ex-LMSR) section until in 1960 (with all lines by then electrified) the Station was rebuilt and renamed Manchester Piccadilly. No. 4401 was one of the popular Robinson J11 0-6-0s. |
