Summary
Description MAX light rail Type 4 + Type 5 end profile comparison (2018).jpg | A comparison of the different end profiles of TriMet's two different models of Siemens S70 LRVs (light rail vehicles), used on the MAX Light Rail system, in 2018. Type 4 car No. 403 (at left) is coupled to Type 5 car No. 536, and the two-car train is stopped at the station on SW 5th Avenue next to the Pioneer Courthouse, in downtown Portland. Later, in 2020, Siemens retroactively changed the model number of the second of these two series, the TriMet Type 5, from S70 to S700. |
