Demonstration of the new Leopard 2 and M1 Abrams main battle tanks.
Since March of this year, two Leopard2 tanks and since mid-July two XM1 Abrams have been available for technical tests by the armaments services and troop tests group headed by the Federal Office for Mechanized and Light Troops. Three XM1 Abrams were tested by the Swiss army from 1982 to 1983 (registration M+0827, M+0828, M+0829). |
