English: Lowell Jackson Thomas, Jr. (born 1923) is an American retired politician. The son of the legendary Lowell Thomas , Thomas moved to Alaska in 1960 and was deeply involved in Republican Party politics in the new state over the next two decades. In this role, he is best known for serving as Alaska's lieutenant governor from 1974 to 1978.
