Fort Story, Va. (June 6,2006) - Sailors assigned to Beach Master Unit Two (BMU-2) practice man overboard drills using Landing Auxiliary Rescue Crafts (LARC) during the Naval Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC) DELMAR exercise on and off the coast of Fort Story, Va. DELMAR is organized by the Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) and will challenge a variety of units to jointly provide humanitarian assistance to an area devastated by a natural disaster. The focus of the exercise for the month of June is based around the Hampton Roads area if it were to be hit by a major hurricane.
