19 февраля 2014 года Муниципальным Советом утверждено новое Положение о гербе внутригородского образования Санкт-Петербурга города Колпино. В гербе отражено присвоение городу почетного звания "город воинской славы" - за муниципальной короной добавлены два скрещенных меча.
"В серебряном щите червленый столб, обремененный тремя золотыми пламенами и сопровождаемый двумя черными узкими столбами. Щит увенчан золотой башенной короной без зубцов. За короной - знак города воинской славы: два серебряных с золотыми рукоятями меча, положенных накрест".
