Summary
Description KEY MEMORIAL CHAPEL, STATESVILLE, IREDELL COUNTY, NC.jpg |
English:
aka St. Philip's Roman Catholic Church; it was built in 1898 and it was abandoned by 1976, and adaptively reused as a law office. It is named Key because it was a memorial to Philip Barton Key, a grand nephew of Francis Scott Key of Maryland. Most recently it has been modified to become Key to Escape, an escape entertainment facility that allows thousands each year to visit and enjoy this structure.
