Description Javelinadactylus sagebieli (TMM 42489-2).png | {{This is a size chart of Javelinadactylus sagebieli, a thalassodromid pterosaur from the Late Cretaceous Javelina Formation of Texas, USA. When it was first described, it was valid. That was, until another pterosaur was described from the same place as it, Wellnhopterus brevirostris. It wasn’t a thalassodromid like Javelinadactylus, but an azhdarchid. Eventually, people realized that Javelinadactylus was the same as Wellnhopterus. So nowadays, Javelinadactylus is a synonym of Wellnhopterus. So say no to Javelinadactylus sagebieli!}} |
