Lokomotive des Škoda-Typs 109E. Die DB Regio Oberbayern hat acht Maschinen mit Doppelstockwagenzügen für den Regionalverkehr auf der Schnellfahrstrecke München–Nürnberg über Ingolstadt bestellt, im Gegensatz zu den an die ČD gelieferten Dreisystemlokomotiven jedoch nur für 15 kV bei 16,7 Hz. Ein sichtbarer Unterschied zu den Maschinen der ČD und ZSSK sind die zusätzlichen gelben UIC-Kuppeldosen. Inzwischen ist die Maschine schon eine Weile gelaufen, an den Drehgestellen ist es auf den zweiten Blick sichtbar.
