Description Istanbul Eyüp Mihrişah Sultan complex Mausoleum entrance from street 3907.jpg |
English:
One of some pictures taken in or of the mausoleum (türbe) of the complex, or of other parts of this element in the complex. Apart from her mausoleum there are other elements in a baroque complex (külliye) founded (1794) by Mihrişah Valide Sultan, mother of Selim III. There is a mektep or primary school, its portico is situated along the east side of the courtyard with the mausoleum. There also is, further east along the street with the opening to the courtyard, an imaret (public kitchen) along three sides of another courtyard. And further east there is a sebil.
